It's forms a part of what we understand to be "decorum". Also, it's a very powerful tool through which good messages can be disseminated e.g. illicit drugs - baaaad.<BR/><BR/>The more pertinent question is that of pervasiveness of influence, and aspects influenced, rather than presence/absence of influence. I think awareness is key - introspectively evaluate your degree of coming under The Influence, and then decide if you think it's a good thing or not, and take the necessary actions. (you also need a supportive environment - that always helps; but which I shan't elaborate on here)<BR/><BR/>Personally, I like being different (but thank goodness my natural eating habits keep me slim!).
